YG Arrested For Suspected Robbery In L.A
YG Arrested Robbery: American Rapper, YG has gotten started the new year on a bad note. Yesterday morning, he was arrested at his Los Angeles home, on suspicion of robbery. The unfortunate news is coming right before he is set to perform at the annual Grammy awards slated for Sunday.
YG, whose real name is Keenon Jackson was served a search warrant and taken into custody by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies in Chatsworth on Friday.
According to the Sherrif’s website, his bail was set at $250,000 and he was released on bond a little after 9pm.
TMZ reports that the L.A County Sherrif’s deputies got to the rapper’s house at 4am and raided his home. Subsequently, he was transported to jail and booked for robbery. We still do not understand the rationale behind it.
Remember that last year, a car registered to him was involved in a deadly shootout that ended with a 65-year-old man as a casualty. YG denied involvement in the case, saying,
“I was nowhere near the scene of this incident and had been in a recording studio all day in Hollywood,” he said.
“I was there until after midnight on the Fourth of July and didn’t learn of these events until after they happened.”
The former boyfriend of Kehlani is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday for arraignment. No additional details have been provided regarding the matter.
