Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Driver Testifies To Escape Deportation
He reveals on the stand, that he was acting as an informant, after being detained by ICE due to his immigration status.
This comes as a surprise to everyone, including Tekashi.
Jorge speaks on his run in with the law.
He traded information on Tekashi and his entourage in exchange for his freedom. He gives the feds Information about their whereabouts, and even the recording of Tekashi’s alleged kidnapping.
Jorge says that the two cameras in his car shot the footage seen in the robbery committed by Tekashi’s former manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan and his former security guard Anthony “Harv” Ellison.
He says about his cameras,
“One is always pointed ahead. Remember, I used to work for a car service,” Jorge said on the stand. “My customers, they were always recorded.”
Jorge says he was detained at the time that he made the deal and Tekashi was not at all aware.
He speaks also, on his deal with the feds, the robbery Tekashi was involved in, and the timelines in which he began to work for Tekashi. Jorge says after he was released from the custody of ICE agents, he met Tekashi 6ix9ine for a job.
Jorge confirms he would receive a 5K1 letter that would give him leniency in exchange for his cooperation. The letters vary on a case by case basis, particularly if a person has prior convictions. He is hoping that he will not be deported in exchange for his testimony.
“They’ll give me a letter, saying all the good as well as the bad things, that I have done,” he said.
