Last year, the rapper was sentenced to two years in prison after cooperating with officials in the very popular crimes and armed weapons case.
Tekashi’s sentence entailed two years in prison and five years of supervised release. However, the 13 months he already spent behind bars were taken into account, and that is why he is coming out earlier than expected.
Complex made public the official release date which they confirmed from 6ix9ine’s official legal representative, Lance Lazzaro. It is now official that the disgraced rapper would be coming home on August 2nd.
By that date, he would have served 85% percent of his time. For his fans, the countdown can begin, it only 146 days away.
Speculations are rife, that the rapper would be in a whole load of trouble when he comes out, as the gang members he snitched on would be out to draw blood because he snitched on them.
Last year, he was arrested for armed robbery alongside his gang members.
