Spotify Releases Year And Decade-End Charts: Drake,Ariana Grande Tops Lists
Spotify Decade-End Charts: The decade is slowly coming to an end and Spotify has released his released its “Wrapped” charts where they list all the artists and music that made the most noise entire 2019 as well a the 2010s decade.
“A Decade Wrapped” takes a look back at the decade and examines the music, culture and streaming which racked up the most numbers. With more than 28 billion streams to his name, Drake is Spotify’s most streamed artist of the decade. The rest of the top 5 in the most streamed artists this decade list are Ed Sheeran (‘Shape of You’ is also the most streamed track of the decade with more than 2.3 billion streams), Post Malone, Ariana Grande, and Eminem in that order.
As far as 2019 is concerned, Post Malone is the most streamed artist this year. With over 6.5 billion worldwide streams, the rapper/singer/songwriter tops Spotify’s “Wrapped” list for the first time, just over 12 weeks after dropping his latest album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, which is also the second most streamed album globally this year. Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande come in as the second and third most streamed artists globally.
