Sacramento Kings Set To Fly Air Drake
Sacramento Kings Air Drake: The Sacramento Kings are set to fly Air Drake for their preseason trip to india. This is a change that links one of the most recognizable recording artists to the lofty “Kings”. “Air Drake,” is a Boeing 767-200ER that is owned by the award-winning musician, and is worth approximately $200 million.
The Athletic reports that the loaner comes off the strength of Kings owner Vivek Ranadive’s relationship with Drizzy.
“Yesterday, out of consideration for the comfort of the players given the travel time required to make this historic trip to India, the Kings finalized an additional aircraft for the players and several members of the coaching staff,” the Kings organization told NBC Sports California.
The Sacramento Kings Squad will depart on monday evening, make a brief stop for fuel in London before resuming the trip. They are expected to arrive on wednesday.
The players may however find it disappointing that despite the luxury of the accommodations in the plane, it has no wi-fi. Buddy Hield has said however, that it would be a great opportunity for teammates to bond ahead of their matches in the coming weekend. One of the players was also heard to joke that he would write a full album while in transit.
