R. Kelly Beaten Up In Prison By Fellow Inmate
R. Kelly Beaten Up Prison: R. Kelly is back in the news again. The disgraced singer was reportedly attacked by an inmate at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago.
Another report by TMZ claims that R. Kelly was jumped by an inmate due to the various lockdowns they have needed to suffer lately, as all since Kelly’s supporters have been camping outside of the facility.
As indicated by the report, Kelly was jumped in his cell where he was perched on his bed. An inmate just began swinging on him, severely thrashing the 53-year-old.
The fight purportedly didn’t keep going long. It is still not clear if it was broken up by another inmate or by a guard. Kelly was reportedly checked by a doctor, who affirmed that he didn’t endure any serious wounds or broken bones.
The singer’s attorney Steven Greenberg reportedly declined to remark on the circumstance when accosted by TMZ.
As we stated earlier, the fight occurred after an inmate got upset with the consistent lockdowns brought about by R. Kelly’s fans. Earlier in the week, individuals had been marching in the streets for his freedom, positioning outside of the prison facility, and screaming for his release.
In other R. Kelly news, he was as of late accused of having a secret bank account from the feds with over $1.2 million in music royalties.
