Post Malone & Swae Lee’s ‘Sunflower’ Becomes Highest Certified Single in History: Post Malone and Swae Lee’s hit ‘Sunflower‘ has earned a major milestone.

The song, which ruled charts and airwaves upon release, has been certified 17x platinum in the US by the RIAA. With this, it has become the highest-certified single in history in the U.S. In September last year, Lil Nas X & Billy Ray Cyrus’ ‘Old Town Road’ remix became the highest-certified song by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) at 15x platinum.

‘Sunflower’ was released as a single from the soundtrack to the 2018 hit film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and was also included on Post Malone’s third studio album Hollywood’s Bleeding (2019).

‘Sunflower’ was nominated for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. A proper music video was never released for the catchy song — instead, an in-studio video was put out which has done close to 2 billion views on YouTube.
