Pitbull Will Perform With Jlo & Shakira At The Superbowl Halftime
Pitbull Jlo Shakira Superbowl: Pitbull, also known as Mr Worldwide will team forces with Jlo and Shakira for the superbowl halftime show. Jennifer Lopez and Shakira broke the internet Thursday when it was announced that both Latina artists were headlining the forthcoming Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show, taking place Feb. 2, 2020, at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
Pitbull was known as Mr. 305 for quite some time before switching it up to Mr. Worldwide. The Latin artist put Miami on his back for years, so it would make sense for him to at least make an appearance in the upcoming Superbowl Halftime Show.
The Halftime Show is being arranged by Jay-Z’s RocNation. The fact that RocNation had the insight to put Latin music on the center stage in Miami was perfect. It shows Jay’s influence is helping the NFL become more aware of their musical audience.
“This is happening” and “Get ready” were the simple-yet-exciting words that both singers used to spread the good news across social media, alongside graphics promoting the event.
“Ever since I saw Diana Ross fly off into the sky at the Halftime Show, I dreamed of performing at the Super Bowl,” Lopez said in a statement. “And now it’s made even more special not only because it’s the NFL’s 100th anniversary, but also because I am performing with a fellow Latina. I can’t wait to show what us girls can do on the world’s biggest stage.”
