The Houston rapper took to the Zane Lowe show on Beats 1 to discuss her album, collaborations and future plans. She also revealed that she got the idea for B.I.T.C.H when she was about to hop in the shower, after a gig.
A few days ago, she shared new music with us, B.I.T.C.H as the first helping from her album. The song was well-received.
“B.I.T.C.H” is the lead single from her ‘Suga’ album and was produced by Detroit super producer, Helluva and sounded like an extension of 2pac’s “Rather Be Ya N.I.G.G.A.”
Megan Thee Stallion plans to coincide the album’s release with the debut of a new alter ego, Suga. This, she plans to be her alter ego, which she announced during her NPR Tiny Desk.
“My next project I will be introducing a new lady,” she said. “Her name is Suga. She’s besties with Tina Snow.”
Some features for the album have been confirmed. During her Zane Lowe interview, Megan announced that Kehlani and SZA will be on the album. She was also spotted with Pharrell Williams in the studio, working on the LP.
“I’m not gonna lie, my friend SZA, she pulled up on me in the studio,” she told Lowe. “We have a song together that’s gonna be on my album too, it was so fire making that with her. Juicy J produced it, we know I love Juicy J. We got a lot of bangers on the album.”
