Justin Bieber Postpones ‘Changes Tour’ Due To Coronavirus
The coronavirus is persistently spreading through the U.S and Canada. In consequence of this, the team thought it best to reschedule the dates for his North American tour. The ‘Changes’ tour was slated to start off on May 14th in Seattle but is now on hold.
They released an official statement to that effect, according to HotNewHipHop.
“In light of the current public health crisis,” Bieber’s team announced in a statement, “and with the deepest concern for all those being affected. Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour.”
“While Justin—along with his band, dancers, and crew—has been hard at work preparing an amazing show, he has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost,”. “Justin is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone.”
Despite this update, all previously purchased tickets will still be honored. Hence, fans were urged to hold on to their tickets. Information on rescheduled dates is expected to be out soon.
Changes tour is expected to have 45 stops across the United States and Canada, closing off in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Prior to this announcement, Justin and his team had been forced to downsize several of their planned venues, owing to low ticket sales. Remember that ticket sales started off only a few days before the coronavirus outbreak hit the US.
