Jay-Z is the only Rapper to make the Forbes 2023 List of World Billionaires: The 2023 World’s Billionaires List from Forbes has been published, and while most of the names are ones that can be anticipated, Jay-Z is the only rapper to make the cut.

With a net worth of $2.5 billion, up from $1.4 billion the previous time around, Jay-Z is placed 1217 on the list. Forbes points out that Hov’s extremely successful liquor company accounts for a sizeable portion of his wealth. In 2021, the world’s largest spirits company, LVMH, acquired a 50% share in Jay’s Armand de Brignac, or Ace of Spades, champagne company. Additionally, in February of this year, he sold to Bacardi the bulk of his shares in the cognac company D’Usse.

Although Ye isn’t on the list, his ex-wife Kim Kardashian is still a billionaire with a $1.2 billion net worth, down from $1.9 billion the year before. Her SKIMS Clothing brand is now estimated to be worth $3.2 billion.
