The 30,000-square-foot residence is in a prestigious Malibu neighborhood, and according to TMZ, the couple paid an astounding $200 million for it. $177 million was the previous record price paid for a mansion in California.

This also makes it the second priciest real estate transaction in the nation, with an apartment in New York City fetching the top price of $238 million.

The home is located in the Paradise Cove neighborhood, where other billionaires also reside, on an 8-acre cliff with views of the Pacific Ocean. It was created by Japanese master architect Tadao Ando, who is currently working on Ye‘s Malibu home.
