J Balvin Shares Music Video For ‘Gris’, Off ‘Colores’ Album
J Balvin Gris Video: J Balvin has dropped the music video for his single, ‘Gris‘ which comes off his recently released ‘Colores‘ album. The video was directed by Colin Tilley and infused with vibrant artwork of the celebrated artist, Takashi Murakami.
The theme of the video was basically an absence of color and grey hues. Heavy presence of smoke, flame, and scorpions was evident in the video.
The singer cum producer released a press statement, on which he discussed the video.
“The idea of making Colores came to me in a moment of leisure,”. “I was calm and I got the idea of naming the album Colores. And I thought… ‘Why not name each song after a color?’ Each person will have their own perception of each color [in] the album. Maybe they can close their eyes and [‘Rojo‘] isn’t red to them, but blue.”
Going by his recent live performances, such as ‘Azul’, ‘Negro’ and ‘Rojo’ which he premiered on VEVO, we can conclude that all his songs follow a theme of colors and the emotions present with each of the songs that make up the ‘Colores‘ album.
