Drake & 21 Savage Sued for $4 Million Over Fake ‘Vogue’ Cover for ‘Her Loss’ Promo

Drake & 21 Savage Sued for $4 Million Over Fake ‘Vogue’ Cover for ‘Her Loss’ Promo: Drake and 21 Savage are being sued by Vogue over the fake cover they used to promote their joint album Her Loss.

Since the start of the promo campaign, the duo has been spoofing multiple promo spots, including a Vogue magazine cover, an SNL performance, a Tiny Desk performance, and more. But they might land in trouble for the fake cover they used for Vogue as the magazine has decided to sue the rappers.

The lawsuit states that Drake and 21 led fans to falsely believe the company would drop the special edition soon which wasn’t the case of course. Condé Nast, which owns Vogue, claims the company and editor-in-chief Anna Wintour “have not endorsed [“Her Loss”] in any way” and have asked multiple times for all promos using the Vogue name to be taken down, but no action has been taken yet, according to TMZ. They are asking for all materials to be taken down immediately and damages worth $4 million.

Condé Nast also claims Drake and 21’s teams’ event sent out a press release about “celebrating Drake’s Vogue cover” and handed out fake magazines in various cities across the country. What’s more, the magazine even included a fake pic of Anna posing with Drake.
