Complex Publishes Final Interview With Pop Smoke
Complex Pop Smoke Final Interview: Complex has published the final interview they had with Pop Smoke before his tragic passing. The magazine was celebrating the surge of Brooklyn Drill this week. In furtherance of this, they published interviews with Smoove’L, Fivio Foreign, Sheff G, and a whole lot of others.
Pop Smoke was only 20 when he passed on and prior to his death, he was one of the emerging acts writing his name in the sands of time. He is a celebrated rapper in the halls of New York. His musical flow and energy will be greatly missed. The rapper had a way of carrying his audience along at every show. Media outlets have dubbed him the next 50-cent. Only, that was not meant to be.
In his final interview with Complex, Pop spoke about a lot of things, especially his music, how the ‘Woo’ phrase was coined, his position in the industry amongst others.
Pop Smoke was killed early this year when masked men stormed his home and lit him up, in Los Angeles. The motive behind the shooting has not been determined but it may be related to a Rolls Royce he used for a shoot and failed to return. Nothing can be ruled out at this point.
Initially, it was stated to be a home invasion but, police sources upon investigation have determined that the killing was organized.
Rest in Peace, Pop. Read his final editorial interview here.
