Cardi B Chooses Nigerian Name, Enjoins Offset To Join Her In Acquiring Nigerian Citizenship

Cardi B Nigeria Offset: Cardi B has broken the internet with her intended plan to move to Nigeria, following the planned move by Iran against the United States. This comes after President Donald Trump ordered the assaination of one of the top military men in Iran.

The Nigerian Government, through the Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, responded to her in the affirmative. She said,

“As one in charge of the Diaspora for Nigeria, We can’t wait to receive you again. Our doors are open, sister.” “And you need to take a walk through the Door of Return in Badagry . It’s an indescribable experience.”

This is interesting, as the Nigerian government is largely known for neglecting its citizens in the diaspora, until it makes front page news, like the slave trade in Libya and lack of passport pages in the London Embassy. It is quite interesting the speed with which they used to respond to Cardi. But then, what can we say.

Today, Cardi put out a poll to determine which name to take on, Chioma B or Cadijat. This threw the internet on fire as fans rapidly responded, encouraging her to take one akin to their tribe.

On January 6, 2020,she shared a photoshopped picture of Offset , her husband, bedecked in one of the Traditional Nigerian Native attires, captioning it with a plea to fans, to convince him to join her. she wrote,

“Convince him to move with me.”
