A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department tells ET that around 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, officers responded to a threatened suicide. While police would not confirm it was Johnson, police officers took him to a local hospital, citing a medical emergency.
“I didn’t break any laws. 15 police break into my apartment while I’m in bed asleep and wheel me out. Why am I here.”
The picture has since been deleted, alongside a cryptic video of a rope and a door.
According to Johnson’s ex-girlfriend, there was no imminent danger and if she spoke about what was happening, people would misconstrue it as attention-seeking.
TMZ first broke the news, saying that authorities were worried Johnson could be a danger to himself and they went to his home for a welfare check. It is not clear if he’s being held under a psychiatric hold.
In other news, Johnson had been arrested on Monday in Van Nuys, California, on domestic violence and robbery charges.
He is alleged to have smashed Mishler’s phone during an argument. On Wednesday, he again took to Instagram to air his side of the story.
“So, me and my girlfriend broke up the other night, and I was devastated. It was like losing my best friend,” Johnson said in a nearly four-minute clip. “So I did what I haven’t done in two months, and what I promised I wouldn’t do anymore, and that was to drink alcohol.”
He alludes to the fact that Alcohol has always been a problem in his life, “Whenever I do drink, I don’t act right.”
Johnson claims they argued for a while, and that he eventually went back to his own home. The next day, he returned to try and resolve the situation. It was then, she brought out her phone and started recording.
He stated that he wasn’t mad at her, still loves her and understands why she did what she did.
Defending his actions, Johnson reveals that he didn’t want to be recorded. Grabbing her phone, he admits was a stupid decision. He admits to throwing it outside.
When he went to apologize, one of the neighbors called the cops.
