Animated Series “Lady Danger” from Amazon Freevee to Star 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj: Nicki Minaj and 50 Cent have at last found an official project to work on together.
In Lady Danger, a new animated series from Amazon Freevee based on the identical Dark Horse comic book series, Nicki Minaj is slated to executive produce and feature. Along with Brian Sher, Paul Young & Mike Griffin for Make Good Content, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson under his G-Unit Film & TV banner, the project will be co-executively produced. The series, which is based on the book authored by Alex de Campi, will have its animation produced by Starburns Industries.
50 shared the news on his Instagram where Nicki commented,
“big BIG Queens shit. #QGTM They want action? Tell my [email protected] cause a scene. fully active.”
Written by executive producers Carlton Jordan and Crystle Roberson, “the series—set in the year 2075—follows a government field agent who is left for dead by her team after discovering a dangerous secret, only to be resurrected as Lady Danger, an afrofuturistic ass-kicking Agent of B.O.O.T.I (Bureau of Organized Terrorism Intervention), who must conceal her true identity while she fights villains who are destroying the earth and its vulnerable inhabitants,” Deadline reports.
Currently, 50 has a number of series in development for various TV and OTT platforms, including a show with Eminem called lady danger that is based on his successful movie 8 Mile.
