Skip Marley Enlists Wale For Remix to H.E.R Assisted ‘Slow Down’ Single
The original song remains intact. However, Wale comes through with his own unique spin. He fit just right into the beat.
The Billboard chart was published on Monday and an excited Skip took to twitter to announce that he is the first Jamaican artist to enter the top 20 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
Critics have stated that enlisting Wale, an Urban popular rapper on the official remix is one of the ways they planned to further push the track.

Skip Marley was born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Miami, Florida. Childhood for him was all of drums, piano, guitar and bass which he taught himself.
His first glimpse of fame, was with the release of his 2015 single, ‘Cry To Me’. He got signed to Blue Mountain Music, from whence he joined his uncles, Damian and Stephen on their ‘Catch A Fire’ tour.
2016 saw Marley signed to Island Records where he released his debut single with them, ‘Lions’. The song went on to get featured on a Pepsi short film commercial.
He also worked with Katy Perry on ‘Chained To The Rhythm’ which he co-wrote, in 2017. They both performed the song at several awards shows later.
