On the song, Kelly opens up to show us a vulnerable part of him, as he sings about losing his aunt to cancer and his Dad getting out of rehab. He also wonders if God is a myth or a real person.
For a season where most artists aren’t putting out music, Machine Gun Kelly manages to stay ahead of trends. He has been keeping fans busy by releasing a new song every day of the quarantine.
The 29-year-old Cleveland rapper has carved a niche for himself, as he can go from emo to punk-rock and rap without missing a beat. Over the past few days, he has been dropping freestyles and ‘Pretty Toxic Revolver’ is not an exception. The other day, he dropped a freestyle to the beat of Jack Harlow’s ‘What’s Poppin’.
Kelly is also gearing to release a new album soon. It is titled ‘Tickets To My Downfall’ which is a pop-punk album produced by Travis Baker.
