M.O.P Resurfaces For ‘That Time’
M.O.P That Time: Those familiar with the nineties hip-hop scene are well acquainted with the name M.O.P. A duo comprised of Billy Danze and Lil Fame, the pair stood apart through their particular rhythms, persistent flows, and straight-up power – in case we overlook, these are the brains behind the exemplary song of devotion “Ante Up,” an exercise backbone right up ’til today. And keeping in mind that the group has assumed a lower priority in this modern age, no doubt they have indeed associated for Billy Danze’s upcoming album We Busy.
New single “That Time,” includes a deep and nostalgic instrumental from TooBusy, who will create the twelve-track project completely. “You talking glocks and how you handle two nines, how you got four watches when you can’t do time?” ponders Fame, his initial stanza featuring the honed idea of his stream. Danze finishes the track off with quiet gravitas, rapping “we world famous, don’t name us the hardest, but we the hardest regardless / fuck your favorite artist.”
