Jessie Reyez Enlists A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie & J.I.D For ‘Far Away II’
Jessie Reyez A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie J.I.D Far Away II: Jessie Reyez has enlisted A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Dreamville’s J.I.D for a remix to her ‘Far Away II’. She had released the original version for ‘Far Away‘ late last year.
Apparently, Jessie is wasting no time in delivering an updated version, if you may, a deluxe version of her ‘Before Love Came To Kill Us‘ album. Following its release last week, she added a few new songs to the mix to sort of spice things up a bit.
The video for ‘Far Away’ was released last year and was controversial, to say the least. It depicted lovers who had been separated by the I.C.E. This has been the reality for most minority families and races since the Trump era, and it’s beautiful how Reyez is shining the light on the situation.
This remix with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and J.I.D makes for an interesting mix, as each of the artists brings their mix to the R&B pop jam.
