English singer, songwriter, and model, Dua Lipa comes through with the official remix to her hit single tagged “Fever” featuring Belgian singer, Angèle.
“Fever” is a song from the digital reissue and French edition of Dua Lipa’s second studio album “Future Nostalgia” (2020). The song was written by the two artists alongside Caroline Ailin, Jacob Kasher Hindlin, Julia Michaels, and its producer Ian Kirkpatrick.
“Fever” is a dance-pop and deep house song with 2000s Eurodance elements and a disco-pop production that features Afrobeat-tinged synth-pop beats. Lyrically it uses a metaphor of infatuation as a sickness, and addresses the excitement of being with someone where one almost develops a fever.
The sultriness of “Fever” was complimented by music critics, as well the blend of Lipa and Angèle’s vocals. The song topped both the Flanders and Wallonia charts of Belgium and France’s chart, as well as reaching the top ten of charts in Hungary and Switzerland.
