Today, Boldy James came through to shoot his Griselda debut The Versace Tape, a joint exertion among himself and producer Jay Versace. Considering the whole drop clocks in at twenty-minutes, lovers of the man’s craft have no reason not to peep this one on the double.
Furthermore, for those only currently showing up because of the Westside Gunn co-sign, maybe the end track “Roxycontin” may be the best to start with.
Versace favors Boldy, Westside Gunn, Keisha Plum, and Tiona D with a stripped-down sample loop, triumphant, and suggestive of a cinematic crime adventure. Setting things off is Boldy himself, never exuding urgency.

Toss in a spoken word outro from Keisha Plum, and you have your perfect ending of The Versace Tape all ready.
