Netflix Announces ‘The Witcher: Blood Origin’ As Spin-Off From ‘The Witcher’

The Witcher: Blood Origin will provide insight into the culture of Elves, the history of men and various angles not been explored in the main series, games, or books adapted from. Rumor has it also, that the creator of the series Andrzej Sapkowski will presumably involved as a creative consultant.

“Announcing The Witcher: Blood Origin, a 6 part live-action The Witcher spin-off series from Declan de Barra and Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.”
“This has been the toughest secret to keep,” Hissrich added. “I’ve always wanted to dive deeper into the myth and lore of the Continent, and now fans will have a chance to explore it with Declan de Barra in a prequel series, The Witcher: Blood Origin. Elves, and enemies, and the end, oh my…”
No release date, production date, or casting news has been announced yet. This means the series is still far from release.
Stay tuned for updates as they come up.
