Hunger Games Prequel, ‘Ballad Of Songbirds & Snakes’ Set For Production
Hunger Games Prequel: THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER ‘reports’ that a prequel for Hunger Games has now been confirmed and its usual director, Francis Lawrence will be returning to the production cast. This has officially confirmed all the rumors around town.
Lawrence has previously directed the sequel movies of which included, ‘Catching Fire‘ and two parts of ‘Mockingjay’. The Hunger Games prequel will be based on an upcoming novel. It is titled The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Also written by Suzanne Collins. She also wrote the original Hunger Games.
The movie will be produced by Lionsgate and this new story will follow the villain, Coriolanus Snow, who becomes the protagonist in this version. Here, we see him as a friendly hero. A privileged teenager and a far cry from the man he would grow up to be.
