Disney+ Set To Air 600 Episodes Of ‘The Simpsons’ After UK Launch
They took to Twitter to make the announcement via a post on @DisneyPlusUK Twitter account. with a video of Homer Simpson with the show’s theme music in the background.
Homer can be seen in the clip, urging viewers to grab a d’oh.
To date, there are currently 676 episodes of the animated sitcom. While it is not clear which of the episodes will be available on the platform, it is expected to be a lot more.
Channel 4, in the Uk, is home to classic episodes of the show and Sky one has the rights to more recent runs of the series. As at this moment, its 31st season is being currently aired. New episodes showing weekly.
Disney+ will launch in the UK on 24th March. Subscriptions will be £5.99 a month, £59.99 for a year. For customers who pre-ordered, they will get theirs for just £49.99 a year.
