Fabolous Finally Releases ‘Summertime Shootout 3’ Project
Fabolous Summertime Shootout 3: Fabolous has finally released his star studded feature album, Summertime Shootout 3. It dropped on thanksgiving day.
This time, the veteran New York rapper is treating it like a proper project where every song is an original and will be available on all streaming services for maximum impact. The “Summertime Shootout” series from Loso started in 2015 with the followup arriving a year later.
On Summertime Shootout 3: Coldest Summer Ever, Fab has guest appearances from Jeremih (twice), Meek Mill, Lil Durk, Tory Lanez, YFN Lucci, Ty Dolla Sign, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, Chris Brown, Teyana Taylor, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Roddy Ricch, PnB Rock and more. Yup, it’s a lot. There are only 3 solo tracks on it.
Summertime Shootout 3 is now available for stream in select international markets, U.S. fans would have to wait until midnight. Check it out below.
John David Jackson, known professionally as Fabolous, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York City.
His career began when he was a senior in high school and ended up rapping live on American record producer and music executive DJ Clue’s radio show. He then on Hot 97. Jackson was subsequently signed by DJ Clue to his label Desert Storm, and later secured a distribution deal with Elektra Records.
Fabolous’ first release, Ghetto Fabolous, spawned the hit singles “Can’t Deny It” and “Young’n”, which led Jackson to prominence. His second release was 2003’s Street Dreams, which was supported by two Top 10 singles “Can’t Let You Go” and “Into You”.
