Burna Boy Releases Much-Anticipated ‘Twice As Tall’ Album
Burna Boy Twice As Tall Album: The much-anticipated album, ‘Twice As Tall’ by Nigerian Burna Boy is finally here. The singer had shared a few details during the week with his fans, concerning the project.
Last week, he revealed that the project would be executively produced by Diddy. Also, he went on to share the full tracklist on Instagram.
On the post, he wrote,
“It’s about to be an interesting couple of days.”
Twice As Tall contains features from the Senegalese artist Youssou N’Dour, O.G. trio Naughty By Nature, Kenyan afro-pop band Sauti Sol, Coldplay’s Chris Martin and U.K. rapper Stormzy.
A total of 15 songs makes up the album, including the previously released ‘Wonderful’. Additional production is handled by Timbaland, Mike Dean, and many others.
According to Burna Boy, the bulk of the album was recorded while in self-isolation in Nigeria.
“I’ve never picked up a pen and paper and written down a song in my life,” he said while speaking New York Times about the album. “It all just comes — like someone is standing there and telling me what to say. It’s all according to the spirits. Some of us are put on this earth to do what we do.”
